When I first came to Rolling Green Village, I was in one of the hardest chapters of my life. My husband had passed away, and I was emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausted. I had been in the hospital a couple of times, and I couldn’t keep going on my own. Thankfully, my daughter—who also happens to be the administrator at Rolling Green—told me, “Mom, you’re coming with me.” And I’m so glad she did.When I arrived, I couldn’t walk. I had lost so much of my strength and independence. But thanks to the incredible therapy team—especially Luke and Nancy in physical therapy and occupational therapy—and the constant encouragement from CNAs like Iris, I’ve come a long way. I can now walk with a walker, unassisted. That might seem small to some, but to me, it means freedom and progress. Their care helped me reach a point where I’ll soon be moving over to the assisted living side of the building.Throughout my stay, I’ve been truly touched by the attention and support I’ve received. From the nursing staff who carefully managed my skin care after I injured both legs, to the folks in housekeeping, dining, and transportation—every person here has made me feel cared for as an individual, not just another patient. They’re kind, uplifting, and they genuinely want to see you succeed. That level of compassion and personal attention makes a huge difference.What stands out most is the sense of family here. We support each other—residents and staff alike. We encourage one another and look out for one another, and that feeling of community has helped me heal in ways I didn’t expect.Rolling Green is a clean, safe, and truly caring facility. If someone you love needs rehabilitation or long-term support, I can’t imagine a better place. They meet you where you are, they listen, and they help you get where you want to go—with dignity, respect, and heart.
